Where There is a Will, There is a Way!

Before this, I wish to credit Youtube, MomLogic and Extraordinary People for the images and videos used here.

First of all, lets watch this amazing video from Youtube.
My dad tagged me this video on Facebook and I was amazed with the magic. I asked myself, "Is there a people in this world live with half a body?" and I start to do some research about it and I found this article entitled 'Rosemarie Siggins- The Woman with Half a Body'.

The article is about Rosemarie Siggins, an American woman who suffers from a rare genetic disorder known as Sacral Agenesis. This disease led to the loss of her legs and the shortening of her spine when she was 2 years old.

Eventhough she is a handicap woman, but she lived in a normal life. She married with Dave in 1999 and gave birth to a healthy boy, Luke and girl, Shelby, with Dr. Wilson's help. No-one else with Sacral Agenesis has ever given birth.

Rosemarie's family.

But life is not always beautiful. Her mother died because of cancer, her father had dementia while her brother who is intellectual equivalent of 8-year old children only. Rose has been getting used to being the centre of the family.

In her spare time, she has a passion for fast cars and she fixes up a Mustang ready for the race track.

If you have some free time, watch this short documentary of this incredible woman with half a body, but a very full life. Be inspired and live life!

I came across a story of Cody McCasland at Star-Telegram entitled A Walking Miracle. Cody is a 7th years old boy who was born without any knee bones and had a rare condition as Rosemarie Siggins. His legs ha to be amputated when he was 15 months old. 2 months later, he got his first pair of prosthetic legs. With these, he is not only can walk, but swim, run, play soccer, golf, karate, ice hockey etc.

Based on these two stories, I realize that there is no such thing as limitations, they are only in our minds. Instead of expecting others to help Rosemarie, she are the one that helps everyone else. While, Cody is such an amazing kid. They have been a source of inspirations to millions of people in the world and no words of admiration can ever match their grits and their never say die spirits! If they can survive these life, why not us who are perfect human-being.
